Thinking your trash is safe is a dangerous place to be in your thinking. Even if no one goes dumpster diving for your personal information, it’s no guarantee that your documents will stay in the bag at the dump. Once your information, including documents with your personal information on them, is in the trash it is available for everyone to see and to steal. Surprisingly, there are too many people that routinely dumpster/trash dive both personal and business bins looking for information.
